The unit seems to blend perfectly with the landscape and the correct choice in materials makes all this possible.The green roof creates a “mirage” effect against the mountains, almost like an invisible cloak of sorts.

'string lattice' developed by japanese architecture studio, craft design inc. is a hand-crafted facade application for a multi-use structure, housing a gallery in the front and hat atelier in the back.
The design, considering its context and surrounding environment, is a direct response to the subtlety of its community.The owners omitted traditional signage, allowing the strings to become the shops' identity. I love the minimalistic and natural approach in this design.
