'String Lattice' by Japanese Craft Design inc.

'string lattice' developed by japanese architecture studio, craft design inc.  is a hand-crafted facade application for a multi-use structure,  housing a gallery in the front and hat atelier in the back.

The design, considering its context and surrounding environment, is a direct response to the subtlety of its community. The owners omitted traditional signage, allowing the strings to become the shops' identity. I love the minimalistic and natural approach in this design.
