Always an amazing place to look for photographs of eras past, the NYPL Digital Gallery featured a collection of photographs by Lewis Wickes Hines of working conditions in the first half of the 1900′s. I like the contrast between the shapes of the munitions storehouse and the weaving loom. This collection is 500+ photographs, so take a browse around.
