Izukougen house - Shinya Miura

Japanese studio atelier shinya miura has created 'izukougen house', a residential project for a couple  who live in forestal resort area near the ocean in the izu peninsula area close to tokyo, japan.  capitalizing on the surrounding views and natural environment, the design features a series of voids and openings that connect interior and exterior environments. Fitting onto a narrow strip of land, the design is carefully structured to maximize both the quality and efficiency of space.
