The österlen chair and table designed by inga sempe for gärsnäs, to be presented during the stockholm furniture fair from 8 to 12 feb. 2011.

the recessed surfaces along the chair's back frame are designed to create a more comfortable backrest. These cuts are repeated throughout the chair, acting both functionally to form the wood joints and adding visual interest to the piece.
